august highland presents:
URBAN TEXT KULT

we are not really a cult nor have any of us ever associated with a leader-centered group or organization that used mind-manipulating techniques as well as peer pressure to undermine the worldview of its members - luckily we have escaped the close dangers of adolescence without getting snared by a system whose authority figures deliberately withheld the final agenda and true purpose of the group from its individual followers or controlled their social and physical environment through various methods in order to systematically destablize the self-confidence and erode the perceptions of its members - we have never declared allegiance to a group that used its implicit authority to define what is true and good within the world and within our own hearts because we have always maintained strong connections with our families, communities and religious faiths - these three social networks have given us and continue to give us a nurturing support system while we go on to evolve as creative individuals in a complex world where there are forces that often attempt to alienate us from our families our religion and our nation - god bless our world leaders and god bless america!
